Summer on the Farm

The Couple:

Steve & Shannon are two of the loveliest and happiest humans! Shannon really showed her creative side as they created and sourced EVERYTHING themselves… it looked amazing! It was a pleasure watching them dance through their day with gin and tonics in hand (literally)!

The Ceremony:

Steve & Shannon had a church ceremony at the Catholic Cathedral in Northampton, surrounded by friends and family.

The Food:

The fabulous Anchor Farm provided the catering for Steve and Shannon’s big day.

Upon arrival guests were treated to grazing platters whilst they mingled in the sunshine.

The wedding breakfast was set up in a banqueting style layout with a sweet heart table for couple to enjoy their first married meal together.

Perfect for the glorious weather guests indulged in BBQ themed sharing boards.

To round off the evening and help soak up the gin and tonics, rounds of bacon baps were circulated…. They certainly went down well!

The Drink:

Guests had a variety to choose from during the drinks reception including Prosecco, Pimms and beer buckets. The most popular drink from the bar was pink gin and tonic (there was also quite a few Tequila Rose served!).

The Vibe:

The sun was shining, guests were grazing, sipping and chatting whilst listening to cool saxophone sounds from James Burwell. Everyone really made the most of all of the outdoor space, even the speeches took place on the decking whilst guests listened on from the patio. The perfect summer wedding!

“From the first time we visited Wood Farm, we both knew we had to get married there, it had everything we were looking for!! What a day!! It was everything and more we could have wanted! The venue just topped it, everyone commented on the stunning views and surroundings of Wood Farm. Even now when we look at our photos/watch our video we are still blown away. Jel was so helpful answering our questions, being on the other side of the and then on the day making it run so smoothly. We can’t thank her enough! Wish we could re-live this day over and over!
